These are family-run premises, open just a few weeks a year, during which they offer homemade cold cuts, cheese and wine at modest prices.
There are about 120 “osmize” on the Carso. Opening times and periods of the year vary considerably: we recommend phoning to check first or plan a tour of the Carso in search of the leafy signposts.
